September is one of our favorite months here at our cottages. It is still very summery! There are beautiful sunsets, glorious night skies for stargazers, great produce at local farm-stands, and ripening apples ready to pick in the nearby orchards. Temperatures are perfect for walking the long, sandy beach at nearby Alburgh Dunes State Park (free admission after Labor Day!), bike riding around the islands, and campfires on the beach.
